Hey, he started the storm, figured I would help turn it into a hurrican,
LOL WOW well said. Also, I recall someone saying they looked at the transom of the fountain record boat and said it was falling apart? Something along the lines of "I cant believe im looking at this!" The only reason OL hasnt broke the record is there's no benefit of doing it! Let fountain keep the record and Fiore will keep the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

The 42 Fountain is fast but its a 10 year old technology, has anyone else improved it?

I have seen them but they are not very good in rough water, it will break your back and neck.

The skater has proven it is the fastest pound for pound with same motors and drives. Nothing compared to it. When they all ran the same weight with 525 and 6s the skater crushed them. Reggie cried so much they added weight to the skater to slow it down. And everyone knows none of the fountain motors were ever legal. So, pound for pound same motors drives the skater is the choice.

Discussing fast Vee hulls, and 'modern' v 'old' design, I'd think you'd have to include these, wouldn't you?

La Gran Argentina (1994)

RED FPT (1985)
http://fbdesign.it/cesa1882.php

Cinzano (built when rocks and dirt were young)

Or, well, maybe not ... those boats don't run FAST - they run FIRST.
