Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm not choosing these because they're not in the hurricane tracks as all these island can get hit. Choose them only to narrow it down as there are so many. So y'all so far recommend St. Lucia, Anguilla, St. Martin. Yea thinking of the all inclusive route, which resort besides sandles would you recommend on the three places mention. Been to Jam. before. What about from all the BVI or US islands ? Again we want nite life and beach parties. Thanks

I was in you shoes last Nov 4th. We did the Bahamas as we had a number of famileis with tween kids atttending and it turned out awesome. We were married on the beach near atlantis and could not have been nicer. One of the other reasons for the bahamas was leaggly it was easy. You just have to be in coutry for 3 days then the ceremony is legal. We also looked at the dominican but there the ceremony "had" to be in spanish and then there would be a translator. My wife shot that down real quick. Maybe Atlantis isnt your style but I wanted to throw these thoughts out there. For us Im sure we made the right choice.

Also as I recall there is going to be a new Mega resort opening in 2014 near Nassau, but I dont recall the details.

Best of luck

Im slightly partial to Curacao, as I have been there many times. Its a tropical island without to much "overtourist". You can get away to one of the many beaches, hit the seaquarium, there is a casino, the downtown area is nice, LOTS of different people from all over the world. Next to the seaquarium there is a nice night club on the beach. Definatly more laid back than Aruba is, and its the island next to it.

Been to aruba its very nice, kind of more of an upscale island compared to some of the other carribbean islands. Curacao I didnt much like, kind of like a dessert island with a few ok beaches around it. You might look into a cruise and hit a bunch of places.

Mexico and all inclusives are hard to beat as well as well as sandals resorts. If you go to mexico stay away from cancun for a honeymoon, I would go to the riveria maya, some descent resorts are secrets, barcelo.

Yes, that's Pascal..... Those pics are of his older smaller Sonic that he was doing work on. He runs the 38' that is in my pics...... I wasn't on my honeymoon when we went but I got some sh*t too. She ended up enjoying it though. Especially whe we pulled up to that tiny beach....nothing more private and beautiful......

I Grew up down there, As a kid I have been to almost every Caribbean island while racing. All of them have their good and bad points, some alot more than others.

USVI: St. John or nothing. Don't bother with STT or STX. you have to fly into STT and take a ferry to stj, but its definitely worth it. It is also extremely close to the BVI and there are Day charters that can take you island hopping for boozing, snorkeling, and sight seeing. Hell, they are so close you can spend a few days on STJ, then a few days on Tortola, JVD, Virgin Gorda, Anegada.
I have convinced a few of my friends to go on their honeymoons and they all loved it. They all were experienced Caribbean travelers from cruises.

BVI: Cant go wrong with them. They are all beautiful.

St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Vincent, Dominica, st. Kitts, Nevis, are all good choices too.

Around Oct, the storms are going north of the islands so i wouldn't worry too much about them.

So whats better to stay at BVI or USVI ? If i go these islands, i'll travel to all of them but which is the best to stay at resort wise, night life, and all around scenery ?

We did a week on St. John this winter and loved it. My favorite of the islands we have been to so far. It's not overly "touristy" if you are into that sort of thing. The bars were laid back but a lot of fun for us.
