CNET gave it a good review and placed it on their site for download. 4-star user rating from almost 400 users. It's not malware. If you had a bad experience with it, you may have downloaded it from an untrustworthy site, or your computer has other issues

Hmm weird -- I never used it so I don't know. At any rate, the app is well known and safe. It's possible it interacted with some other plugin on your machine... I'm sure other IE users will let us know if they download it & experience any issues.
