If so, I've got no plans this weekend...let's jump in my correctly apportioned as-far-as-tow-ratings-are-concerned truck, hook up the AT, and see first hand if the cozy cabin or the speed is the key to a skank's heart...
Well, I was thinking something different. Like planting a bag of Coke in Gina's purse without her knowing OTW up there. Then when we cross thru border patrol, ask her for a piece of Gum while the agent is talking to us. That might buy me some free time with those skanks. I'll be sure to leave my Justin Biever records at home.

Also, the room I have, albeit a 31' boat, is great to other said boats of the same size... I like the fact it has air, heat, refer, microwave, vacu-flush head, flat screen, and still functions like I want it to...
Bevis, Uhhhh he said refer, yeah yeah refer , ha ha , ha ha

My guess... 17,400lbs

Make sure you use the CAT scales, you'll get a cool training card with the weight slip.

I've weighed the truck with me in it, 6800 lbs. So you are saying 10,600 for the boat, trailer and gas.....perfect, I am right about at the tow limit

I was going to take 1,000lbs off, was using my HD Super Duty Powerstroke Diesel F-350 weight in my head.

So let me change my number to 16,400lbs and that's my final answer.

Good luck on the tow, Shortbus. From what I hear, you are gonna be running over women and children with your lack of stopping ability. Hope your insurance will cover it.

Oh...and send my love to the skanks.

Hey fountainsflybyme,

You should do a little research before you comment on Toyota brakes

The funny thing is Toyota was going to introduce a 3/4 ton and 1 ton DRW to the market. The analysts said it would be a dumb move because of the brand loyalty of the big 3. They estimated it will be 10-20 years before Toyota can sell trucks in the class and make a profit.

And btw, I am an American and I do love my country. The car market is messed up and all over the place. I like my truck and it provided jobs to people in the Tx plant that made it, and I am ok with that. And as vocal as I am if my toyo gives me fits on with be on the soap box, trust that. Just passed 90k ( I drive a lot) so far tires and oil changes

You guys are so fixed on Japan, yet communist china is quickly becoming the worlds new super power.
