Crappy to see.

Oh man that makes me sick, beautiful boat and looks familiar.

Is that a normal salvage technique? Dragging it up on plane and jumping aboard? Seems like a ton of drag, what the hell pulled it and what rope? What got the water out?

:party-smiley-004:
Very clever salvage technique. Those guys look like they've done that before. Probably was not under long, and in fresh water. Might be fine.

Everyone is safe from what I heard. .... I don't have any other details.

sr73z 05-27-2013 06:03 PM

wow. anyone know how it happened? I was on the lake all day yesterday and it was dead flat.

redbud35 05-27-2013 06:05 PM

I know the boat. I hope all are ok.

DonziChick 05-27-2013 06:08 PM

Everyone is safe. We were the second boat out to make sure everyone was out of the water. All four of the people had already been helped from the water. It is certainly a shocking feeling to go out there after seeing a boat sinking and not knowing what you will find. Response time of everyone, including Coast Guard, was great.

I think one person had some sort of injury to a leg but nothing life threatening. Coast Guard allowed the owner of the boat to remain with it until it was salvaged. Salvage company was a local and had the boat out of the water in hours.
