I will be in the middle of the river with video camera in hand. Last year the boats split my boat 50/50 (half on left, half on right). Talk about the perfect position to get a shot.... It is kind of intimidating looking at 25+ Skaters coming straight at you then having them break off to the left and right at about 100 yards...... I really hope the weather cooperates.. This year has been a complete bummer so far.....

I have a terrible memory.... About what time last year (and past years) did they make their way down the D-River?? I want to say around Noon. What is the plan this year as far as time?

Ronnie & Chip!

Great news and can't wait to watch this fantastic event going down the Detroit River again. One of my top events to watch.

OK Guys!

Saturday June 29, Flight Clubs Skater fest. I can't beleive all the silence, one of the major boating events of the summer around here with Skaters from all over the U.S. coming. I've been waiting for this event to kick off my summer events but things are way to quit. What is the schedule? About what time will the boats be coming down the Detroit River on their way to the Ambassador Bridge and guys don't forget the rooster tails in front of Downtown Detroit and Windsor? I've been telling friends that the Skaters will be coming down the river around 12 noon. Can someone elaborate on the schedule and the times.

Also, where would be a good place to watch from the Detroit shore? The closest viewing point from shore?? Thanks.
