Here's my crib, but it's not for sale or in the 200s.

Up by the mid-point bridge is a great area.

Yeah I looked Down by rumrunners. I'd say avg was 400 when I was looking. Nice area. I just didn't wanna go that high. I would have been house poor with my broke ass. Plus my dream is still a 42 lightning.

Why are houses in that area dirt cheap compared to say Sarasota?

Simple

More places to work in Sarasorta, and fewer channels.

Look at google earth ft Myers/ Cape Coral and Punta Gorda/ port Charlotte has a ton of channels.

Supply and demand. Can't really beat the SW fl area for affordable water front.

Hot. Great food. Lots of good boating. Not tons of industry hence low prices. A lot of residents gone half the year. We have a Walmart and a Home Depot. What more does anyone need? Lol

That is the same results I came up with. Settling on a home in Pelican in a month! Can't wait. Dock and Lift are being built. Woohoo!
