I'm thinking of buying my first house.
Should I get a ranch or colonial? I sort of like contemporaries but I saw a Cape I liked last week. Maybe a one story or two, basement or slab, wood or vinyl siding? Paint or stain?
Sorry...I'm having trouble with this thread.

Buy your last boat first and you will save a bazillion. You will bore quickly if you have it in your blood to go fast.
The Skater was my first powerboat (prior fastest boat was a 55mph Crownline) and I took it really easy the first 50 hours in it (and did Tres Martin's course).
I get more comfortable every time I go out. I listen to more experienced guys and try to get all the knowledge I can (and try to wade through all the bullsh!t).
I used to treat myself to 100mph burst every now and then but recently I've discovered my new cruise speed is 90. The first 25 hours it was about 70, then 80.... and so on.
I don't think these boats are dangerous if you respect them and take your time. I feel more afraid on my PWC than in the Skater.
