Great thread.

Seeing these "old" boats brings many fond memories. Offshore racing was really fun "back in the day".

Innovative design and engineering, with one boat rule 30' - 50'
made things interesting.

Here is My dad racing in 1983(?).

I remember the Black Duck boat thoroughly. That was one of my favorites to see as a kid every summer when we went to Point Pleasant for the Benihana.

I remember my grandparents would hold me by the arms and swing me into the waves at Point Pleasant while I watched my dad go by(in 1st place of course!)
