These are GREAT old pictures!!! I too love these old racing cats. I think that it would be REALLY cool to own an old restored racing cat and take it to poker runs... 
If anybody ever runs across and pictures of a Flight Marine Cat, please post them. I use to race the an old Flight Marine Cat named "Top Cat", that was orange and yellow with small block Chevy's and Arneson Surface Drives. I think there were maybe 4-6 of them built. I know Bob Sheer ran one as "Sheer Terror" and Al Copeland had one too.
