I'm thinking all tunnel tabs need the addition of an indicator in order to know where it's at. Mine are L.E.D. & this pic is actually pre-tunnel tab install monitoring drives & trim tabs. The faceplate & L.E.D.'s were updated to a 3 slot when I removed the trim tabs & added the tunnel tab.

Does porpoise zone move lower speed and its easier with tab to drive throw it.
Or does porpoise dissappear entirely ?

My 28 has a tunnel tab, it planes easier with it down. It can be set to stop the 50 - 60 mph transition zone hop if you want to cruise there, and it makes a great swim step. It has an indicator on it. After 70 mph it is retracted to level with the tunnel bottom.

Thanks for info..

My CC in flat water starts hop after 75.. and wont stop.
So Zone for stopping porpoise is after 75.

Rought water makes different, hopping less and can drive over 100.
Boat lay lake area. This season been flat alltime.

If it works same like yours
it will stop porpoise after 75 and tab can be lifted before 100.

But you never know.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product, I know you've invested quite a bit of time in developing them.

Cool addition. How about some engine photos, too?

That's the Linder hop. Is from about 75-85 and then you will drive out of it. Really no way to get rid of it. It's a quirk of the design.
