My intention was not to start all this crap about safely.

Carrera1, I would love to run with you. I have seen and read a lot of good things about the kryptonite boats, but have never seen one on person.

Thanks for all the congrats everyone. I am proud of the boat because I bought it with blown stock motor and built it all this past spring along with the added full hydraulic steering. Basically rebuilt the whole boat.

Don't let these fukrs ruin it for ya. You should be proud! That is a hell of a fast boat under 30'!!! Congrats. I've been one of the first boats at stops and its pretty damn cool when the big boat guys come up and give ya props.

I will say this though... The pics I saw showed no-one with a jacket on (rated for that speed or not) safety of your crew and yourself is paramount. I am not the most responsible captain cause we like to party but there is never a moment I run on plane or faster without tether connected and a jacket on each soul.

All politics aside, where you went wrong was not having a go pro to capture the faces of the big dogs getting it handed to them..... Feels good to put that much work into something and having it pay off.

I normally have the gopro on the boat, but forgot to bring it that day.

It was awesome watching the pfe racing velocity run at last years shootout. Impressive number with natural aspiration in an older boat. Just shows you don't have to have the latest technology to run!
