If it was on a tilt an pulled by a grey P2 that's a 42' not the 40' in question they both have almost the exact paint job and are hard to tell apart unless you know them. The 42' is resident at the lake and was at the boat show in the park on Wednesday.

It's not uncommon for boats for sale to be parked in the lot right off of old Highway 54 by the Chili's we see one's there almost every weekend. Jim

If someone wants to take something bad enough a locked trailer would have only slowed them down a little. Glad to hear there was no damage. Randy

Locks, LOL. They're a false sense of hope on the owners part. And if it locked in the up position it wouldn't matter anyway. There is enough tongue weight to drag it away without spending the extra ten seconds with the lock.

Interesting story for sure, but my question is since I won't be seeing that beauty in our area anymore what did you trade it on ciaoderhead? I did see a new looking Mistress named 4 Play with quad verado's rolling down 58 yesterday... Would that be you or maybe a replacement for the Midnight Express with same name in VB???

Doubt it was a drop spot for lojack confirmation, if it was that they'd have put it somewhere a little more out of the way so as to not draw obvious attention only to see if someone came and got it quickly. Then again the thief probably isn't that smart so maybe.

Hope they catch them, my insurance is high enough.

To me it smells like a botched insurance job and the paid thieves got nervous so they dropped the boat and took off..........
