Had a great overnighter for the bartender olympics. Fought 3-4 footers on the way on Erie. Small craft advisory on the way back. Honest 6-8 footers. I had to go idle speed for twenty miles before I was able to plane out, then the rest of the ride was fun but cold.

Your nuts! I've been in 6-8 in a 10' longer boat and after a few miles turned back. F that...

That little sea ray is pretty cool! I'd rock it. Even 65mph in a 19ft'r is going to be serious fun and surprise the hell out of the bigger boats. Lots of 24ft Outlaws, checkmates, and even the more base power 24x7's would get whooped on!

Drive it sensibly and it just keeps going, the one problem is that you can't really get the full potentional out of this setup unless you do upgrade the drive and some engine mods, so why change something that works and looks neat. As for my setup it works well just as it is and is dependable and you can definately notice the pull when the throttles go down. Its an Old School setup like some old cars that have a tri power setup when they have restored the Old Hot Rod. BTW my boat is 24 ft. Jaws, weighs 5,000 lbs. and is 33 years old and still runs well. Back in the 80's it was quick but today it is slow but sounds nice and is nice to look at. I need to get a set of them Flame Arrestors.
