The comments about the more experienced drivers knowing what they are doing when cutting through spectators is just a confirmation of how lawless and reckless PR's have gotten. When there is no penalties for going inside the turn buoy or disqualification for breaking the rules, these "experts" lose their judgement.

I would be willing to bet that some of the guys that have gotten out of the top tier boats had moments that made the decision for them.

Not sure what that has to do with anything, but to resolve your curiosity I am currently, 100% boat free. My past boats include three Scarabs, one Fountain, one Astro (bass boat), two Chris Craft Roamers (and a kayak and canoe). My background includes marine manufacturing (Marada and Armada- bat boats).

I still have some interest in another boat company, so you could say I still own a few boats as I have access to them, though they have cost me far more than the fleet is worth.

Considering how much the 2nd video changed perspectives on the crash and the causes, I think maybe we should withhold bashing the red Skater guy until a 2nd view of that is found. Maybe he was pushed that way? Maybe there are boats to the outside of the camera boat blocking the lake? I don't know.

What I DO KNOW is that he was certainly on WOT as he passed the camera. That would cancel the thought he was trying to get around the bend faster than the group.

Huh? This is the amazing arrogance of some poker runner mentalities. Pushed that way.......blocking the lake? Then move those two little levers back towards yourself. Oh wait....there's a big chunk of EGO stuck in the throttle controls. Better to push them all the other way.......it will be fine. It was last time. Simple $tuff. Also......that bold part above. What does that mean?

The second video hasn't changed the cause of the accident at ALL. Unless something broke on that boat to cause the accident, then guess what the cause was.......

The "lead" of what? I thought you "won" a poker run by having the best hand. That boys is the problem.

I would like someone, anyone, tell me that they "never pushed the throttles forward" when after the fact they realized they should have pulled back on them, it's human nature, no one wants to be second, lets be honest, this is how man has gotten to where we are today................ambition, everybody wants to be the winner.

I'm pretty sure I haven't.....but then I'm not a boat racer either.
