I can actually launch and retrieve faster alone than with the wife :D One of the many great things about boating, you can start the day alone and finish with new friends. And people will leave their food at a restaurant to help you tie up, it's a brotherhood.

I ride alone 95% of the time. And loving it !

No problem going alone and like others have said I have it all down to a science of handling in, out and docking alone. I probably go alone 50% of the time, wife is not in love with performance boating and doesn't like going over night in the 382 like I do, she thinks it's roughing it. When my kids were smaller they loved to go away overnight with me now that they are older and into their own things my solo trips are becoming more common. I see a cruiser in my boating.

Yep, when the family doesn't want to go, I drop the boat in the water, and I'm gone...

All the time. Being a shift worker, I have to take advantage of being off during the week when not many boats are out. I prefer it this way.

The show must go on.....If nobody wants to go, I'm fine with going out alone. The boat usually comes home cleaner than when it left.

Do it almost all the time. No beyatchin' from anyone else and leaves the door open for other "targets of opportunity".

Over the summer I worked 4 miles from where I kept my boat. When I would get out of work I would head over to the boat and take a rip by myself. Kind of hard to recruit people for a 4:30-5:00 boat ride on a Wednesday evening, but wasn't going to let that stop my!! Took a new job in the city (NYC) and now have a 1:20 commute...no chance of getting out on the boat during the week!

i frequently go out alone...

I love the idea of it but can say I have yet to do it.

Not sure how I would feel about loading and unloading the new boat at the docks though.
