Neither Geicos or our engine were working hard this weekend, as the top speed of the day was under 120 for either one of us.
Great racing however.

MMM went very very wide in the first turn. Appeared never to be able to make that up. Opinion from a spectators point of view only.

The top speed had nothing to do with GPS restrictions, it had everything to do with water conditions. I never even looked at my gps, just Mary Mac hot on our heels

Clearwater may have appeared that way, but when you have your engines go into Guardian mode your competition is sure to gain on you very quickly. Therefore it appeared Qatar had a huge advantage over MGR. That may not be the case.... After what I witnessed in Ocean City, I feel that if the engines can be kept out of Guardian mode in Key West, it will be anyone's race. MGR was very dialed in at Ocean City. How they kept it glued to the water while every other boat in the other races all were getting big air only meant one thing . MGR is really set up well and ready for Key West.

Well balanced powerboat. Great shot Tim! What were the wave heights at?

My guess is 2 to 4 feet but Ocean City always has a ground swell that sneaks up on you ! Suddenly there is this huge hole you never see and BAM !!!

Dido. I wish I could have reached the 135 limit. Not a chance.
