Is there anything I can use go get the aluminum back to somewhat original state? I thought about using a product called "Toon Bright" thats used to clean aluminum boats. I am trying to stay away from pulling out the buffing compounds........... Any suggestions..?
We buff with very fine steel wool, and Shark Hide,,, Good Luck,

Dollar General sells a steel wool pad with soap it. They are cheap & work great on aluminum. The detail company at our lake turned us in to them.

If you use conventional steel wool, don't ever go near salt water with the trailer again. Small traces of steel will wind up imbedded in the aluminum forever. Scotchbrite or bronze wool are OK.

That is what I used on my aluminum trailer.
Go with the grain and wear gloves.

Thanks guys for all the responses! I think I have a good idea on what I need to do. Due to C_spray's comment, I will probably go the green scrubby route... Who knows, just may go with the high polished look if time permits....
Thanks!
Jr.
