Who all else has gone 10' or more in boat length from one boat to the next?

Went from 21' to 50' ; 150 hsp to 960 hsp; no turbo to twin-turbo; 30 gallons of onboard fuel to 650 gallons of onboard fuel
Operational costs went through the stratosphere......but we're still havin' fun!

Thank you for all the responses. I always had preferred to take the big steps and save money this way in the long haul. Plus you can get that ultimate boat you've been wanting a lot quicker.

I loved the 35 Fountain. As for how it does on Lake Michigan...depends on how you drive it!

Went from a '91 SR-1 292 Formula with twin 502's to a '91 42' Fountain with triple HP 500's tweaked to 575hp apiece. Worth it just for the ride quality in the constant rough/chop we get up here in the 1000 Islands on weekends. Sold the Formula for 5K more than I paid for it, and got paid 1K to deliver it 4 hours away! Liked my Formula, love my Fountain. The Formula got looks when you pulled in, the Fountain gets stares and people asking all kinds of questions. Not bad for a 22 year old scow.

Went from 23' rinker to 311 formula which is just shy of 33 when you count the platform but has the feel of a bigger boat. I had plenty of truck already but just recently went to a dually. Like others, biggest difference is the fact that you have twins thus maintenance and more important to me upgrade costs are doubled.
