Anyone else think a Naturally Aspirated 775-850 hp version would be a good move?

My buddy jay has one of those pro line motors in his 10.5 outlaw mustang. Can't even describe how that thing runs.

The big question is will someone want give mercury 100k for 1650hp or 100k to proline for 4000hp? hell That 4000hp is probably more reliable

And take the 4000 hp motor, detune it 50%, 2000 reliable hp...now for a drive.....

Isnt that the 565 with a more radical cam if it were running automotive headers?

Is not this motor a very close cousin to the Austrailian McGee motor of the late 80s . the motor was outlawed in top fuel , as it broke alot of the Keith Black records ... someone know?

It's more likely somewhat similar to an LT5, which merc assembled for ZR1s back in the day. Although it doesn't really have to be based on anything.
