Sean - The new drives went on this week and we are running the boat again on Tuesday. Going up 3 1/2" in pitch on the props.

Both boats (this one and the Callan 55) are leaving a week from Monday to go to LOTO. See www.callanmarine.com for more info on the 55.

T2X - Thank you for your concern.

The boat has:
Full Canopy
5 point harnesses
Full time air
Leg pony air bottles
Full intercom with communications to the support trailer
Full telemetry to the race trailer for a second set of eyes on the gauges.
Kevlar scatter blankets on the turbines
Fire suppression system

Trust me safety has been one of our main priorities on this project. Followed very closely by top speed.

Keep me in the loop guy's I am very anxious as to this turn of events.

This is exploring a new frontier boys and girls once you see the maintanence costs Marine Perf might just be overwhelmed with orders for build slots.

One safety item I forgot. It's got to be one of the first boats to employ HANS devices.

JC,
I came into work early today, 0530, so I can bust out of here early to come over and spectate. I think it'll take about 20-30 minutes to get there. I'll just go over to the support trailer, (which in on the old bridge, correct) and watch from there. Let me know if I can bring anything, in the way of "refreshements" or whatever!
See you later today,
MD

Marine Performance,

Just out of curiosity, where were the testing and speed trials conducted? Daytona?.....

We're testing in Titusville south of the Garden St. bridge. Rained out today. Going back out for the final run tomorrow before LOTO. Trucks leave on Monday...

I stated on another post before. It is the Jolly Motor Tencarra right? Are you still using the BPM drives?

Same boat - stripped and rerigged.

Highly modified BPM's. Gear ratio change, new prop shafts, bearings etc.
