Slug,
I got your Slug! All I know is that YOU have never beat ME in a boat race!! HeHeHe!!
Are you guys going to run this weekend, or were you referring to a previous test run that Bruce, AKA the "Slacker" witnessed? Call me when you guys are on the water and I'll try to buzz over to watch!
BTW, Don't you hit any of the "Beloved" Manatees while testing there today!

Question Boat => Airplane?

Marine, I hope you guys have done your calculations on lift vs. drag. At 190 mph plus I would be worried about blowover! Remember a 747-400 weighs 400,000 lbs and has a 165 mph takeoff speed.

Sean, your right turbines have almost no maintenance costs except oil changes. 500 to 1000 hours no sweat!'

Good luck and safe flying Boys!

Didn't run that much faster today didn't get as much time on the water as we had hoped for. We were working on 4 in boat cameras and had a crane show up 1 1/2 hours late. The interesting thing is that we sustained this speed for well over a mile, it wasn't just run up and then slow down, we were actually running along talking about how fast we were going at 190 to 192. Then again a mile at this peed is a mile is less than 20 seconds long. The boat is fast and amazingly forgiving, there was about a 15 mph wind today and 6 in. to a ft. of chop.

Trucks leave for LOTO on Monday, looking forward to seeing everyone there, thanks to all for your kind words and support.
