Randy.........I forgot to mention. Rather than a phone, you could use an Ipod Touch instead of an Iphone. You just wouldn't be able to upload stuff directly to the web or email until you reconnected to a WiFi somewhere. You'd save a quite a bit and not have to deal with changing phones. Brand new 5th generation Ipod Touch is $229 HERE.

Santa left a Vision 2 for me also - it is amazing. I was never able to really fly an RC plane or chopper. Something about the eye/hand stuff lol. But this just about fly's itself!
First flight was a disaster. I did what most of us do, assembled it, charged the battery, glanced at the instructions, thought I knew everything, took it outside and lifted off. Got it about 10 feet in the air and it promptly flew itself into my neighbors tree. After it pruned a few branches I managed to get it headed back to my property where it again hit a tree. Fortunately it knocked the battery out of it so it crashed down in some bushes. Amazingly enough it was not damaged!!
So then I really read the manual twice, maybe three times and watched all the videos. I am pretty sure I did not have the compass properly calibrated.
I have not had the ba**s to fly it over the water yet, that will be next. It's a little windy this week but it seems to handle 10-12 mph breeze OK. The best part to me is the fact that if you let go of the controls it just sits there!
These will be everyplace soon, privacy is now officially dead.
Chris, I have a question on that chopper (which is way cool btw). I am not sure what terms to use, but have they more or less automated the tail rotor and stuff so it stays upright?

Thanks level III chaos I bought an I pod & finally got the camera going. Now I can sit in the house with 0 degrees & 30mph winds and be all happy cause my camera works, LOL. I can't wait to fly it with the camera. Another + is that I now have a storage device for music, just have to figure out how to download it. Randy
