My Grand sponsor and I rode up to Savanna Ga. last year to give my sponsor his 25 year medallion.
In return, his home group gave us each a small toy dinosaur. ( I think they were trying to tell us something)
If I can continue to do the next right thing, Aug. 9 will also be 9125 days for me as well.
Congratulations ... Gino !

I really wanted to thank everyone. I have gotten tons of emails and PM's. So many people shared stories, took time to offer congratulations, and Waycool marine generously offered me his 25 year chip.
I can't tell you how touched I am.
A friend asked me "why the hell would you make that post and put all that out there, aren't you embarrassed?".

I'm so glad I did!

Hopefully, it will give someone hope and help them realize that no matter how bad things are, they can be completely different if you want it bad enough.
Again, Thank you everyone!!!

That is fantastic. You should be proud. Heck I don't know you except for OSO, and I'm proud of you (and everyone else with a similar accomplishment). You should go back to a meeting and get your 25 year chip, not just for you, but as the inspiration for folks who are just trying to make it a week, a month, or a year. You could make such a difference in their lives.
