About getting sued. I own a carpet store and was making and selling Fountain logo rugs. This was when Fountain was still operating. I received a nice letter telling me to stop. I did. I sent the last two to Fountain instead of the intended customer. There wasn't any money in it, but It was fun to do. Most went to people on oso. JC That's the way I figured it would go.... I get it they built the brand , they don't want people hacking up there logo or making money off what they built. |

I spoke with several boat manufactuers a couple "out of business" companies as well and and basically if you make the items (shirts, stickers, mugs, whatever) for yourself your fine but once you start selling them they either want a cut, will shut you down (sue you), want to sell you a licensing agreement for them. Really not enough for any profit if you do it legit.
Looks like I'm going to have more Donzi shirts than anyone on OSO!! LOL. I have thought of getting in touch with a few manufactures about just havering them put up a spot on there web site and drop shipping shirts for them. Easy for both party's and they just pay a preset price per shirts and collect whatever they want to charge for them... I send them a bill once a month for there cost. Easy for everyone and they don't have worry about stocking shirts and crap. |
