Just a quick look Magnaflux block is on there twice. 1 valve cover gasket is $100!!! $1400 in ignition! Over $1200 in pistons.

$87.00 for "Premium Racing Fuel" .... Seriously! WTF! Did they Dyno it? Hope not, I'd hate to see that bill.

Turn on water: $36.29
Turn on Ignition: $12.73
Engage Starter: 2 attempts @ $9.99 ea
Monitor Systems: $479.99

Sorry to make light, but being in the biz this is asinine.

They did dyno the engine for me as I had asked for that and I did do a spreadsheet and pulled all the exact same parts from Jegs, CP, Summit, ans Teague. That comparison wound up being $2,788 over what the prices actually are every single day, free shipping and all. The carb was built by C&S specially for this setup as a blow through, not sure what the costs I should have expected for that setup but that comparison did not include that price either. I did address the magnaflux being on their twice, one at 30 and one at 40, so they offered to take 60 off..? Hope this helps those of you that are giving advice on this situation and thanks to everyone for the help, love the awesome people on this forum!

I Get a kick out of the "cosmetic" head gaskets .Cometics are good gaskets ,but at 150.00 a pop, "cosmetics" must look better. Invoices like that make me realize why some boaters are so gun shy of repair yards .

if you paid the 5k deposit with a credit card, have your bank get your money back, then pull the boat and buy a new engine... this guy is a thief...
