The Jacksonville poker run ....?
some posting from Stu has the future of this poker run in question to say the least . it was a great run I remember when the count of boats was over 100 , But as in all things change is inevitable , what would it taketo bring this poker run again into the grand event that it once was. ...? what free hot dogs a higher price a lower price, a casino night at the event ...? what do you think ..?

I think you misread Stu's email......FPC isn't participating but that has happened in past years and the poker run still happened.

We did, with about a 40 boat turn out which I thought was great for the first year. We will be doing this run again this year.

therefore the problem with FPC and PR of A. The events are profit driven and not fun, fiends or for the love of boating. And that's fine. Poker Runs drifted away from it's original concept, and I been doing less and less of it, due to that. Wanna bring back the "historical" Jax run? Bring back the original organizers and the venue.
