As stated, the best vids have a combination of types of footage. This will certainly contribute to that. I think more vids need a human factor to them to be really well-rounded. Close-ups/interviews of/with those who attend the events. Combine the horsepower and colors with the personalities and that's a great video.
JMO. YMMV.

Well that's cool and all but,
The real question is how many beers an it carry from one boat to the next? Can I fly it into a dock side bar and put a drink caddy on it?
You know in the hot afternoon it takes a lot of energy to get out of the boat just for a drink......lol
Hmm......I wonder if it can pour a shot down someone's throat from above??!!

Just from my own experience... I've seen dozens and dozens of cool videos that show me stuff I never dreamed of.

I came across this shot on flickr and immediately thought about this thread.

I fly a Phantom quad-copter, purely as a hobby. Lot's of fun, and thanks to their on-board electronic stability features, they are very easy to fly. Technically R/C craft are (currently) illegal to use for hire because [as corny as this may sound], doing so makes them commercial unmanned aircraft, although I don't know if any enforcement of this is taking place or not. The FAA is currently writing policy on this issue. As fun as they are to fly, these multi-rotor R/C aircraft can and do crash for any number of reasons. Flying them over crowds, vehicles, homes, expensive boats and such, could pose liability issues, so be aware there are potential risks involved. Just sayin'...
