That being said….if you pull up beside me and the lake is clear…..game on!!
Reading that reminded me of the time I got hit by a car and had a fib fx. When the doc was putting the cast on I asked how long. He said 6 weeks. I told him I had a race coming up and he had 3 weeks. He just laughed at me. 3 weeks later I cut the cast off in the garage, Ran and won a 150 mile ATV desert race.

Monday I went back to the doctors and he said "where's the cast?" I replied "I told you , you had 3 weeks., I did a desert race yesterday, its ok I won, you have another 3 weeks."

He then put this big Velcro full leg brace on me, because he was afraid of me gashing myself when I cut the cast off again.

Reminds of getting all my wisdom teeth pulled the night before the IKF sprint kart Nationals in Lubbock Tx, Dentist was up on the chair trying to get them out in Houston. I turned down the pain pills drove 530 miles to Lubbock raced for three days, ended up second. They kept trying to make me pull out because my mouth was bleeding after each heat.

i understand your frustration with my comments. i assure you, if you know me, you know i am by no means a tree hugger, sh!t starter etc...

it keeps me on edge in regard to who i'm running with that does not have the proper insurance, or has been denied for aforementioned reasons. i am not against running 150 MPH, and have done it in my skater, both with and without JT.

i am just saying there is a time and place for everything....... and, the "time" is when everything you can control is in place (in this world of so many uncontrollable and unforeseen things that we choose to be a part) ---- i just don't want "someone else" making the choices for us, and hope it doesn't happen... and i also don't want someone to be at the effect of an under insured (second tier insurance program/company -- we all know who they are), or not insured (self-insured) boater --- have seen too many people and people's families devastated by such. that's all.

not judging or suggesting...... rather stating one of the reasons i've chosen to back off.

My comments was not about what was said about running fast or competitve drving, it was about the people that actually belive actuaries and underwriters of insurance companies lurk the forums for information.
