17' Challenger Tunnel Hull Bass boat with a 250hp Merc 31 pitch prop and hydraulic jackplate. It was scary fast and dangerous as a cocked cannon.

Having been raised around boats there are many possibilities here, except to say my first real boat was a 1965 donzi 16. I bought it in 1974 the day after I got married. I used it to get to the cottage every weekend, raised 2 kids in it and never looked back

1963 Glasspar G3 (13.50 feet) with a 70 Mariner (came with a very tired 75 Evinrude). I was only 11! My late father started my training early who had a trawler at the time. I guess some kids play catch with their dad. We were a boating family all my life until he passed away suddenly three years ago. Man, the countless running hours (and props) jamming around the CA delta in that thing. Had it until I was 21 (I'm 40 now). Great memories.

Current boat is a Donzi Black Widow
