Mine is all around budget friendly. Twin Opti's will get 4-5 miles per gallon (cruise speed). Paid $35k on a trailer. She isn't new, but probably won't find anything else out there close to it for $35k.

These guys ran the BVI poker run a couple of years ago. Too funny. Had to see it to believe it. I'm not sure if they got up on plane or not? Also not sure they know what a life jacket is but they sure were having fun.

Bull****, prove it.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...psa66d5ce7.png My boat is heavier, bigger, and less efficient bottom than yours but I have diesels, no way you are getting 4mpg. Only person I need to prove it to is myself, since I pay the fuel bill. But if you do some research you will find the Optimax is one of the most fuel efficient outboards made. Showtime83 has a 30' concept with same motors and he has seen similar fuel economy. Also read my follow up thread where I corrected myself by saying it was closer to 3.5-4 MPG. Sorry your much heavier, less efficient hull with heavy diesels get worse MPG than my 4800lb boat with light outboards. You are comparing two completely different animals. Your boat weighs almost 2x as much (9800lhs in the test I read online) and has a 10' beam and is 7' longer. Knowing you are seeing 2.3 MPG in that (test I read says 2.6...) I wouldn't be shocked to see over 4 MPG at cruise in mine.................. The 36' Concept with 3 optimax 250s sees aprox 2MPG at cruise speed. Again, mine is 6' shorter at least 1k lighter, 1 less motor and mine are 225s not 250s. |

So let me get this straight..... You "case closed" a point about poker runs when people who want a sport CC repeatedly said they don't do poker runs........in this exact thread.
Thank god you build a great boat cause the common sense or two and two together isn't quite there. I think he was trying to show that the CC's weren't the first to the dock.......as the faster boats usually are. |
