Yes they do, I think pretty much everything built in the last yr or so has the new G5 cockpit. And the bigger boats,48, & 52 also have a new option which is very similar to the G5 except wider, longer and a more rounded windshield but it would be to wide for a 10'6" boat. All of these are now pretty much standard on a new boat, however Randy will build you what ever you want.[/QU
do you have any info about the NEW 2015 42 WIDE BODY ????

They have built at least 2, One went to Ritchie Prince in N.O., the other went to some football player in the Houston area, that has since been tranfered. His was called Big BaD Wolf I believe. It is basically a 44 that the tunnel has been widened 6 inches, hence the 446 model name. Both boats had 1350's. Ritchie is a friend so I know he is very happy with his, I don't think he has topped it out yet, but he has certainly seen some very good numbers with a good load on board.
Pretty sure Tomlinson's is a 40.

From experience, I can tell you first hand that a couple of 39's with 1100hp have run just shy of 165 and a 40 w/ 1075's that would do the same and a lil better. You just need the correct setup, and a big enough lake. Not everyone cares to give up that bottom end for the big #.
Thanks for the pics, still love it. I am sure it would be a 180 boat if set up properly.
Precision, there is little to no difference in the speed of that boat with the top on or off. definetely not 10 mph. The way these interiors and windshields set up there is almost no wind buffeting in the cockpit
here is the 40 video

Ya right!! Any canopy boat is gonna have better aero!! Period, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I don't care if its a MTI, Skater, OL, or whatever... Come on common sense. Any boat at those speeds will have some wind on the back seat, and at those speeds it makes a difference!!! Now that particular MTI, sure it might be better, but I was meaning more of an open boat. Not that certain MTI
