To comment on Bill's post, I obviously have no idea what they were running but by the looks of it I'm guessing they had the sticks to the dash !!!!
I've heard from a few good sources throughout the years that the boat ran between 103-105 on gps
** I'll go ahead & add an apology to the OP of this thread if it gets off track.. However I know he's a gear head too so I'm confident he understands a rabbit trail or two.. haha.. I'm not on here a ton anymore so this is almost like an ole cyber family reunion to me..**

Seems right to me b/c the singles are supposed to be around 4800, and If I remember correctly the Pantera's are supposed to be around 5000 single & 6500 twin.. The Saber's are Balsa cored throughout the entire hull and the reason they come in a bit lighter..

I have always been curious about what that boat was capable of with the 1000's in it. Have not heard much other than rumors and second hand info but supposedly it was scary fast, like way faster than the owner was able/willing to try.
