same thing happened to me in the Bahamas except there were 4 sharks! I poked the first one with the spear and he split but then I saw three more coming and said the hell with this and let them have the grouper I had just speared. luckily they went after the grouper. Gets the blood pumping, i'm on the surface waving my arms like a madman at my wife driving the boat and she idles over like nothing is wrong from 100 yds away. I told her if you see me at the surface waving my arms around you need to haul a$$ over here!
