Legend has it that an Aronow boat doesn't need steering of any kind to eat up the 8 footers. The wheel and single ram are simply a cosmetic upgrade

I'm with Dave M on this...1987 would have been a Café Racer, right? That's definitely not a Café...and doesn't look like a Mistress either. Looks more like a 36 Widebody if anything...

I don't know enough about them. However the dash does look suspect now that you mention it.

I like the old cigs, this ad is just ridiculous however. The fact that anything from the 80s that had any ties to Don is sometimes rebadged (and titled) as a cig is both a compliment and an insult at the same time

read this add... seems odd also that a 94 model had to be completely rebuilt in 98

Cool boat. What mold was sold to force 10 then copied by Baja for the 36? Was it the 36 wide, or the Café?

I have actually BEEN in a 1986 Cigarette Flatdeck in 8 foot waves...there was no open drinks or we'd have been wearing them.

Not sure....Cig guys?

I have heard the 36 Outlaw came from a Cig...and having ridden in a couple...they are beasts in the rough.

Rebuilt...for $8000? And then a "staggering(ly)" expensive paint job added for $15k? Sounds like those TAOD customers have been getting ripped off big time....

Also...you are selling a boat. At LEAST straighten the drives out in the picture...

Maybe a 1979. That ad was making me laugh. I don't go out in 8 footers. When there are 8 foot waves my drink doesn't spill on the dock either. I don't care if it was rebuilt completely- I mean completely in 2000 that was still 14 years ago
