I am not a big fan of loto...my boat is on the small side imho for the water there...I've been there several times...just too busy and hectic for my style of boating...however...if I had a 35+ ft boat with more power I would love it...I think any powerboater should go there once...then decide if they like it...don't judge before going...the boats there are absolutely incredible...and a lot of things to do on and off the water.

I am a Florida Native and after several visits to LOTO the long range(5 years) is to grab an nice townhome or walkout level condo at LOTO and spend Memorial Day to Labor Day there. The place is amazing if you're into boats even a little. Lots to do and always a good time.

^^^^^ This post sums it up peeps. If a Floridian says that I'd say the point has been made.

I've come to the conclusion that if any man goes to LOTO and doesn't like it he probably drives a Prius and squats to pee. (Sorry if I offended any homosexuals by including you).

We have it known we are buying a small condo for summer months. A little 2/2 with a lift.

I think for condos I like Grandview. For townhomes I will have to spend some time looking around.

Condos are probably the best buy if you plan on vacationing there. If you want to be right in the heart of the action and have the best view of the boats, check out Lands End. Nice place, lot of amenities, etc. I looked at buying one there just for the investment.

Osage Beach or Horseshoe Bend area has the most action and places to go.
Basically between the 6mm and 28mm. Both are on the same side of the lake and that side is much more developed.
I stay at places at the 12mm, 17mm or 21mm.

A brief glimpse of LOTO....... These are all Poker Run vids, but other than it being organized, it is still typical of what happens there every weekend.
