I did call you arrogant, however it was a typo in my post..SO for that I am very sorry. What I meant to say was "I think deleting a thread because everyone isn't in 100% agreeance is ignorant. (spell check change agreeance to arrogance...) So again, I am sorry for that. I have since made the change.

This video represents about 99% of the boating that I see done on a weekly basis. If this guy is that irresponsible then I don't know one person that should own a pleasure boat. I understand the life jacket for kids under 12 or whatever age you prefer and he lanyard deal but what else do you want somebody to do? I mean come on, if I was going on my buddies boat and he said, "No drinking on the boat, you have to wear a PFD, only 4 passengers allowed at once, only going 45mph today cause there's 2 footers, etc, etc, etc...." I most likely would say I don't even want to go, have fun with your field trip.
At some point being anal about every little thing takes the fun out of it. Let's be honest if I was standing at the dock on a nice calm summer day and saw a 38 Top Gun with 5 middle aged dudes all wearing PFD's pull in, I would prolly get a good chuckle.
