Hate to think about my fuel bill with three engines with the amount of running we do when we go out. What kind of speeds with the 3 525's?

I really like the look of the 42 fountain. Such a good looking boat. IMO

410 velocity on ebay. 2 496's so a lil slower than u want. also, quebec is a bit of a drive from baton rouge. but a lot less hours on a far north boat. also less sun damage. no salt.

A 42 Fountain with staggered 525's will run mid to high 80's. A 38 with full staggered 525's will run in the 90's. Both great rides. I don't see how you're going to get a #6 boat at that budget and a boat with big power isn't going to be that family friendly if it has air scoops sticking out of the sunpad.
