Good luck with the project Pete! I hope to put a few more hours on my SCX's this year! Are you going to have the lowers blueprinted? Let me know if you need spacers.

Not going to blueprint unless needed. I have already spent too much money and for sure Ill be contacting you for spacers if it looks like Ill need them. With out spacers my propshaft will be about 2.5 in below the bottom of the boat. Going to try it. I hope next weekend we will be ready for a seatrial.

FWIW, mine are at least 2.5" above the bottom of the boat (6's with cleavers).

make sure you check helmet clearance in the full trim position may hit gimbal , had one customer crack his gimbal when it hit
