How do you adjust if it does hit? Do you just limit trim adjustment

merc makes spacers to go in your trim cylinders. mine just barely touched, but I had a trim selinoid stick and the pump over came the springs in the trim cylinders and broke the gimbal right at the swivel pins. The spacers are a cheap and easy install, so make sure you have plenty of room

Just be careful when you trim up for the first time Pete, take it slow to make sure your not gonna hit.

Be sure and watch the 4 screws that go into the hinge pin. I lost All on one side and 7 on other last yr. Go figure!

I thought those were supposed to get installed w red locktite
