Default How many record breaking runs are there?

I've heard of the Key West to Cancun, and the New York to Bimini, are there any other ones out there that are popular?

Is there any for the Loop.

Are there any that don't have records that should?

I had 13 people on my cruiser last yr for a booze cruise. Music was blaring, Blender was blending, Dance floor was hoping. Lights were flashing. I'm going to try for 14 this yr.

Around Long Island.

FWIW, I enjoy the long distance racing a lot more than the bay racing we know today.

I just meant the guys that set out the record from point A to point B. there's got to be one for Miami to Key West, or Ft Lauderdale to Bimini.

The around Long Island in my eyes is a point a to point b record run, although it has been run as a group of boats running together to "race" around Long Island, let's face it, each time in the past two years a record was set it was on a day hand picked by the individual who wanted the record...... Or at least the record for his class.....

I don't know about others but I really enjoyed reading about Bob the Builders run to Cancun when he beat Reggies record set by a 48 Express Cruiser.
I think I remember one of the guys here might be contemplating the challenge of beating this record,
I believe it was BYC in the diesel that went to Bermuda from NY
See ya,
Kelly

Chicago to Detroit, 12 hours 34 minutes 41 seconds, the record set in 1983 by Michael Reagan, son of the former president. He covered the distance in a 38-foot Scarab powered by triple-gasoline engines.
