Default center state exchange

anyone had dealings with center state engine exchange? Seems like every place I look for a replacement engine has several bad reviews. Haven't found any for center state though.

Sorry to reply so late, ordered 2 engines in March, received damaged by the carrier mid June, sent back, they said not damaged that bad, sent them back to us, then sent us new oil pans to replace the damaged ones, put everything together fired up on blocks before install, had bottom end knock in one, broken valve lifter in the other, both taken apart, re-crated and sent back, the second one will be leaving to go back today. Will keep you posted as to how this all turns out. I fully understand with a re-man how things can fail, I am waiting to see how they fix it

No one yet. In process of building new pole barn. Planning on working on over the winter. However, center state was probably going to be who I used. Now, not so sure!

I will keep you posted as to how they handle it. I am not speaking badly of them so far, but the next couple of weeks will be the tell all.

well the engines both had bad cams, they fixed them, I got them back last Friday the 2nd, had them marinized and Fired up Friday the 9th, Valve covers leaking, but the engines sound healthy this time, they say they will cover everything I had to do in the middle, set up, tear down, palletize and crate and send them back. while it put a hurtin on my customer and myself, **** happens, and they seem to uphold their end, will let you know when i get the check.

I still think, had these been Chevy's they would have run right from the beginning, but i am biased.

I would NEVER buy engines from one of the mass production rebuilders.

I've bought the Chevy based stuff from them for a couple years now. So far no complaints. I've always dealt with Tony who seems very knowledgable. Beats paying Merc prices.
