I don’t know what you’re all talking about? Heath (HBlair) and his buddies could get that looking like new again, no problem, 🙂
At least there’s a bit of honesty in the second half of his ad, he sounds like an interesting character.

The hull is worth more than 500 in that it's a 66 & vdrive, the parts, well, the kind of rebuild this requires maybe the running gear could be reconditioned but evey piece of deck hardware would be corroded, the screws for the rubrail are hidden but 99% safe bet the heads are stripped a little and most are bent, some will snap.
There is a 1973 or 4 donzi doral sitting on a trailer thats 10 feet too short under some trees and i still got the guys contact info.
They were offered in vdrive way back when and this has no engines and is a perfect candidate for a single big block vdrive.
problem is the monocoque liner + i would need 2 gantry cranes, and i dont have the room, or want 2 cranes out in the yard.
back to the 16, honestly a 4 winns u17 is going to made with better resin probably even bi axial material, it'll most likely come on a decent trailer, and won't need to dig it out of the field, drain the pond, rent a flatbed etc.
another hull will come along but 15 to 18 foot is the cap, this is a hobby not a contest.
stuckon, sending you a pm about the 18
