Active Thunders Latest Creation!!!

Here are a few pics of Pat's latest creation, "RaDiO AcTiVe",
twin 675 KE, with Imco Extreme SC drives, and hering 5 blade props. the seas were 6-8 ft. could only get her up to 65mph @3400 rpm. with lots of throttle left:D Tomorrow hopefully the seas will be 1-3, I will definately give you an update tomorrow on speeds and rpms. I am estatic on the outcome of our boat, with quality and attention to detail. Great job, Thank You Pat.

Jassman 08-21-2002 10:35 PM

thunderdan 08-21-2002 11:11 PM

The pictures look great, and man did the boat run nice, I really tried hard not to to launch it more than 6 feet off the waves, the motors were fine but those sc drives were not real happy.:p

The boat looks great, I really like the way the bolsters came out...

R Addiction 08-21-2002 11:15 PM

candyman35 08-22-2002 12:06 AM

Jeff,
Congratulations! She looks SWEET!:D Thanks for sharing the building process with all of us. It is interesting watching how a boat comes together. I look forward to the numbers. Except for the SC drives is your combination the same as Dan's?

Go out and enjoy the rest of the season. Keep us updated.
Dan

CRUBOSS 08-22-2002 09:24 AM

GREAT LOOKING BOAT. BUT WHAT ABOUT PICS OF THOSE BEAUTIFULL ENGINES ???

rjcardinal 08-22-2002 10:13 AM

Jassman,

Beautiful boat. When is it comming to MS? Our boat club will be at Diamondhead Labor Day weekend. If your boat will be there I would love to see it.

I think we have 5 boats going by water and another 6 or 7 trailering down. I dont know exactly where we are supposed to dock the boats. The person we were originally dealing with at Diamondhead is no longer there. Our Cruise Director has been in touch with someone else over there and says its not going to be a problem. I think everyone is staying at the Comfort Inn next to the Interstate.

Let me know if you will be out and about when we are there. I would love to see this boat in person!

Ron

Luxy60 08-22-2002 10:21 AM

georges 08-22-2002 10:52 AM

Nice boat.
In reference to Boatle$$ reference to a bus, that's not a bus, it's a "redneck yacht":D

RCM255 08-22-2002 11:05 AM

that boat is absolutely gorgeous
good luck with it

Russ

MassiveThunder 08-22-2002 02:50 PM

VERY NICE BOAT!!!!

CRUBOSS 08-22-2002 02:53 PM

now that is more like it......yea baby ! . got to be blown ! :p

Jassman 08-22-2002 03:36 PM

Thanks guys, I have to work late but will try and get more pics posted as well as numbers from Pat.

Candyman, both Dans and my boat are both very similiar with the exception of an additional layer of glass and a generator, besides the drives.

Flylevel, its a 37AVH with KE675's, and Imco extreme sc drives

Baja 27, Thanks for the compliment, I think from here on out you will be seeing some cool custom stuff coming from A.T. its whatever the customer wants and how much coin they want to spend.

R.J.Cardinal, give me a call, 228-255-3400 office in house or cell is 228-216-0900, be more than happy to show you guys the boat, I'm located north of the Diamondhead exit right on the water, I hear a boat roarin down the bayou. Jeff :D

Too Old, you can help me out anytime, thanks:D

Jassman 08-22-2002 06:27 PM

No new update today on speeds, added a new pic and the other pics of the candyred side hopefully by the weekend. Punch list is just about done, and the fuel problem was resolved today after yesterdays run. Pat is going to trailer the boat to Miami inside the breakwall, for some realistic speeds Friday, I will post as soon as I find out.:D

Jassby,

You are welcome. I'm glad i was able to help out. I know how hard it is to get your hands on different products that you want to test out on your boat.

Again, congratulations on a beautiful machine!! Pat builds one hell of a boat.

Stan

MassiveThunder 08-23-2002 01:34 PM

SPEEDS?

boat nut 08-23-2002 11:05 PM

Jassby,

Did weather/water conditions allow for any more testing of your boat??

GO4BROKE 08-24-2002 06:25 AM

I love it Jassman!!:D But tell Pat that a plastic shore power plug does not belong on a boat of that caliber:eek: . Someday I hope my wife and I get to design a boat that nice.

Interesting, I have the same plastic shore power plug on my 2002 Outerlimits. But, you are absolutely correct, that is a high caliber boat!!

MassiveThunder 08-24-2002 11:57 AM

Did lazy Pat get speeds yet?

Jassman 08-24-2002 03:16 PM

Just got back in from work, Sandy loaded a few more shots that we got from Pat this morning of the starboard side and cabin. He is still testing and as soon as find out I will let every one know the results, I am just as anxious, from what Pat said yesterday those Herings that Boat Nut (Stan- thanks again) is letting us borrow is getting the A.T. on plane much quicker with little cavitation, and makes the boat turn on rails, looks like I'll be spending a little more money:eek: but can't beat the fun factor.:D

MassiveThunder 08-24-2002 03:26 PM

you have to stay on Patrick........lol
