My long-term plan would be to have two boats.

A large CAT - 44-50 Feet with modest engines and at least a bed over the bunk and full head.

A 22-24 Center Console that the kids can learn to ski and wakeboard behind and eventually grow into and use themselves to ski/wakeboard/chase girls/etc.....

That being said, with the current price on Cafe Racer's I might be a three boat owner and just keep that one too!

Yeah, my kids love the Talon for speed, and they love the Hydrostream for tubing, but my wife's 2 neck surguries keep her out of the little boats, she only boats in Slingshot.

Your not alone before my current boat I had a 14' Lund with a 15hp Evinrude on it. It was my first boat that I owned.

Yes I would agree that offshore boats are indeed kid friendly.

Off shore boats are kid friendly but when family is on board no matter the size boat always keep the safety of the family first and watch out for the other boats or PWC jet ski. That could turn a good day bad really fast. Be safe, Boat safe and keep the family safe.
