I know My Way had to top off the tanks with another 1,000 gals of kerosene, during the lunch stop during this year's Alex Bay poker run.

In calm water, 6,000 HP will make a difference. In rough water, it's probably just going to lead to lots of busted driveline parts. This may be a great example of how having the most horsepower doesn't lead to having the fastest (or winningest) boat. Then again, if they only push the boat as hard as they have to in order to win a race, it might work.

Famous Richard Petty quote: "My daddy taught me win races as slowly as possible."

My thoughts exactly. Seemed as though the t53 and resulting broken parts in kw point to excess stress on powertrain. Very curious how 2000 more hp will treat those parts.

My Way is running T55s and did set the loto record at 224 or 225 so i don,t think they will be faster unless they can get it to accellerate faster of the start. the orginal geico turbine was callens with T55s those turbines are now in MY Way

From the pics I've seen, the exhausts on #96 hasn't changed, so if I was a betting man, I'd guess the T55s didn't get installed yet, and it won't be racing this weekend.

My Way doesn't have to run hard in rough water in a race. Get my drift?
