Any thoughts on this boat? Not much info on the web

Out of the three I would have chosen the scarab....only problem I have is it is a sit down boat. For rougher water in a smaller boat a stand up bolster boat is a must for me.

It's not blowing smoke if your generally interested in the boat. Sea trials are the only way you'll know. Going to look and check out several different models is a good thing. You have a real intention to buy to so that's fair. Lol.

I have lowered my budget for a couple reasons. I bought my crownline 250 aft cabin with the intention of spending the night out on the water all the time. Instead it sat on a lift I was paying for. I have always wanted a fast boat and anticipate using it a lot. BUT if I don't use it as much as I would like I would feel a lot better about a $10,000 boat sitting in my driveway vs a $25,000 boat.
Also remember that if where you're going to be boating (forgot where you said) can get choppy/rough, a stand up bolstered boat is what you really want. Sitting down in the rough is great, if your 15 and your back heals overnight, lol. Also keep in mind that a boat like the last one you posted might be harder to sell being a not very popular boat, IMO, compared to something like an Active Thunder, Checkmate, Sonic, etc etc. |

I see what you're saying, but you dont wanna buy a boat for 10 grand only to start not liking it the second weekend out on it.

The old Convincors are great all around classic boats. Good luck- |
