I took the advice given and replaced my belt and carry the old one as a spare. The NAPA part number is (25) 060888.

Things like impellers, t-stats, & belts are cheap insurance. I'd change them all each spring.

Distributor caps and rotors - 2 to 4 years seems to be good maintenance as well for the marine apps that have THEM.

it is wise anytime a belt or belts are off or being replace - check all pulley s and rotation. Always spin them to see how well they spin / resistance along with being straight. Pulley bearings and any tensioners do wear out over time especially if they got wet.
