Here is a 37" X 72" Fat Towel on our engine hatch. Does a great job covering where you walk to board the boat. They are heavy and it takes a lot of wind to blow them around.

have 4 FatTowels myself. TOP quality. Don't drop one in the water though! You'll need a salvage crane to pick it up!

Also have 4 FatAss towels. can't remember where I got them but they are BIG also. Embroidered with a donkey and the FatAss logo on one end.

Recently picked up 40x70? one sided cheapos at Wally for 12 bucks. Good for everyday over vinyl use (think backseat) and disposable. Blue with red end border with white anchors and red twisted rope design. They actually look really nice and have the theme.

Can never have enough of these large or huge towels for protecting the surfaces

Paid $44 for four towels shipped to my door,,Cant beat that!
Thanks to GSXRMIKE x2. I ordered a couple as well.

I also have a custom made white terry cloth cover that goes from my transom all the way over my back seat. It has a purple border around the whole thing, and two elastic bands that attach to the rear cleats. It works great for keeping things, cool, clean, and soft when we spend a day in the cockpit. It's enormous though, slightly smaller than my cockpit cover.
A friend's wife custom made them for several of us years ago.

Fat towels are hard to beat, they are more like rugs....and they float!

Fat towels are awesome...until they get wet! My wife got some nice, oversized beach towels from Land's End years ago. I know a lot of boaters that just sew together one or more normal sized towels to get the size they want.

Fat towels here too. Never had one blow off the sun deck. Worth every penny.

I use bathroom runners or other rubber backed type things for our dog when he comes with. They stay put, I don't care what happens to them and a little extra protection.

Thanks for the reminder, getting a slip this Thurs - Sun nights!
