No center console would satisfy my need for this. My old lady loves to race and haul ass almost more than I do. It's not in your blood if your happy with a big v-bottom open cockpit boat with some weed wackers on the back. Period
Hell, my 70 year old dad bought a 42 lightning fountain with 525's. First ride he looks over at me and goes this thing is a slow pig. Couple weeks later 42 lightning with 700's with whipple upgrades. lol

Maybe, but I've been a "gear head" my whole life. Dirt bikes, BMX racing in the late 80's early 90's, drag cars, road racing, SCCA, etc.

I would say that is a false statement.
I grew up around drag racing, I have had some kind of muscle car to tinker with my whole life, I work on them and love them.
My boat....love it.
But it comes a time when your at the dock cause your down for the day and everyone else is at the island having fun. Then you come to FL and you boat 10months out of the year but yet you are still the guy with boat issues and when you're not you are drawing straws with friends for who you can take and those days get old fast.
You can still love muscle and have it in your blood running a "weed eater". After a while a little sensibility has to come into play and ask your self why you are doing this just to have the noise. Cause unless you have a very built boat these days.... Those weed eaters are running right next to you having a blast.

Me too. I'm surprised at all the praise for CCs on this thread. First our inland lakes get taken over by pontoons and now these giant 70 mph fiberglass pontoons are going to replace traditional go-fasts? I don't like it. I don't need ten people on my boat. I rarely have four.
